13th Annual
You are cordially invited to participate in this year's fantasy golf pool. Rules Each participant will select 6 players that will compose their team. No replacements will be allowed. A link list of last year's statistics is included under Player List. Parameters for your team will be two (2) selections from #1-25, two (2) from #26-50, and finally two (2) selections from #51 and up. You can choose players farther down on the official list (i.e. #126 and up) as long as they fit into the above parameters. Only players from my official list can be picked. Tiger Woods will play at 30% with no multiplier. The format will encourage the participants to vary their choices as well as keep it competitive longer for more of the participants. It will be a somewhat handicapped format where each group (1-25, 26-50, and 51----) will be broken down into 3 subgroups (red, white, blue). The red groups will get no multiplier odds, white groups will get 1.5 multiplier odds, and the blue groups will get 2.0 multiplier odds. These odds will be multiplied against the point breakdown for the given tourney, major or regular event to get the number of points your pick will receive for his performance. An example would be if a red group pick wins a regular tour event he would receive 15 points, if a white group pick wins, he would get 22.5 points (15 x1.5), while a blue group win would account for 30 points (15 x 2). These multipliers will hold true all down the list 1st thru 10th. All events will award points for the top ten finishers.
Point System Points for events will be awarded as follows: Regular Event 4 Major Tour Events 1st 15 points 1st 25 points 2nd 10 points 2nd 20 points 3rd 8 points 3rd 15 points 4th 7 points 4th 12 points 5th 6 points 5th 10 points 6th 5 points 6th 9 points 7th 4 points 7th 8 points 8th 3 points 8th 7 points 9th 2 points 9th 6 points 10th 1 point 10th 5 points In the event of players tying for a particular position, each player will receive the allotted points. Some weeks will have multiple tournaments, check the schedule. All entries must be mailed before Thursday, February 9th. The entry fee of $10.00 should accompany the completed form. I will be able to send e-mails and have my web site set up for viewing the weekly standings either on Sunday night or Monday. Send your form and money to: Dale Van Houzen |
