Facts and Information

The pump that filled the water tower was located across from Arbor Pines on the north side of M-109. They tried to use a gas engine to pump water up the hill, but it would not work so an electric pump was used.

During some of the hot days, the caddies would climb the water tower, open a trap door on the top and jump in. Some of the older boys would close the trap door and scare the younger ones. A rope would be climbed to get out.
